The Gauteng eSports Mind Sports Championships
hosted by Wits University in cooperation with the Lair, on 21 and22
March 2009, proved to be both an exciting and entertaining
event.
Wits University proved again to be a wonderful host, the venue was
fantastic and the infrustructure proved to be unparalleled.
The Lair provided much needed admin support and largely due
to their efforts, the event went off without a hitch.
A number of players excelled at the event by winning all of
their games. Such players automatically earned provincial colours.
